Top takeaways from ANA Media Conference in Orlando

Published: April 16, 2019

The conference rooms were abuzz at last week’s ANA Media Conference in Orlando Florida, April 10-12 2019. The conference was comprised of 800 plus marketers, agency, ad tech and media owner executives and the content was more than compelling.

The key themes were brand relevance, brand safe environments, transparency, privacy issues and fraud. As I took all of this in, it was clear to me that Adomni delivers for screen/board owners and advertisers against all of these key themes.

Marc Prichard, Chief Brand Officer at P&G, called for a reinvention of the total media supply chain, and called for marketers and agencies to take more control over the media ecosystem they operate in.

Terry Kawaja, Founder of Luma Partners, discussed the need to use different media channels from long form video to outdoor, to gain a better understanding of the relevant ways to reach your target audience. Understanding audience behavior, in different advertising channels, versus legacy targeting is key to better understanding who is responding to a campaign and what channels offer the most impact. Adomni's audience buying platform, tied to mobile, offers advertisers unique insights in this area that will lead to more impactful use of ad spend.

Finally, Gary Vaynerchuk, CEO of Vayner Media, delivered what I believe was the most spirited presentation. He challenged legacy thinking in just about every area, and stated that the most important aspect of every brand and brand campaign must be relevant to the audience. In listening to this, it was clear to me that the Adomni platform gives advertisers the opportunity to reach their audience in the most relevant locations possible, with every advertiser having the opportunity to choose the locations based on audience type and specific location behavior.

It was exciting to see that based on the key themes of relevance, transparency and audience discovery per audience behavior, Adomni fits each criteria in spades.

Exciting times in the world we operate in, and an exciting conference!
