Campaign Planning Strategies
Watch time:
Hi, this is a quick tutorial on how to split your budget by market within a single campaign. First, you’ll notice there are three different CBSA markets within this campaign. To allocate your budget by market, start by going to the Campaign Details page, and on the right side you’ll see a section called Budget Allocations. Click the dropdown menu under Inventory Grouping, and choose whether you want to group by CBSA or DMA. Since this campaign uses CBSA markets, select CBSA.
Next, select the market you want to allocate budget to. For example, choose Austin, then enter your target spend as a percentage—let’s say 25% for Austin. Repeat this process for the other markets by clicking Add Budget Allocation Rule, selecting the next market (like Boston) and entering another 25%, then adding San Diego and entering 50%.
Now your budget is divided by market, with each one receiving a specific percentage of your total spend. Once you’re done, hit Save, and you’re all set.
