The mockup generator

Transcript

In this video, we’re going to go over how to use our mockup generator. To get to the mockup generator, go to the Content Library, hover over that title, and select Mockup Generator. Here, you’ll be able to create your own mockups using any images you may have from the client or anything you pull from past advertisements they’ve run. To start, enter a name in the title section so your mockups are labeled once they’re made—let’s call this one “Example One.” Next, select creatives. When you click Select Creatives, you can pull creatives you already have in your content library, and you can also upload files if they’re not already there. You can select Upload Files on the top right and upload from your computer. From there, choose the specific pictures or videos you’d like to upload to your content library to use for mockups, select them, and click Open. You’ll see the files broken out if there are different formats, like static versus video, and then you’ll click Upload.

Now that the creatives are uploaded, you can choose the specific ones you want to use for mockups. For this example, select a couple creatives, then scroll down to Venue Types and choose the venue types you need a mockup for—you can select as many as you’d like. For this example, we’ll use Bar Restaurant TV, Shopping Mall, and YouTube, and then click Generate Mockups. You’ll see the ads you uploaded placed into the formats you selected, so you can preview what your ads could look like on shopping mall screens, bar restaurant TV screens, and YouTube. If you click on any mockup, you can download the image and use it for a presentation or share it with the client as an example.

You can also generate video mockups. To do that, click Clear Form on the bottom right and start over. Label this one “Example Two,” then select creatives again. Since your creatives are already uploaded and saved in your content library, you’ll be able to find them easily—select a couple videos, then choose your venue types. For this example, let’s choose CTV, Grocery Store, Gym, and Taxi Rideshare. Click Generate Mockups, and you’ll see your mockups generated for the selected venue types. When you click on one, the video version will play, and you can download it as a GIF for presentations, an MP4, or even as a static image. This is a great way to generate mockups for clients and show them what their ads could look like in the real world. One thing to note: we’re always improving and adding more to our systems, and not every venue type in our platform is currently available in the mockup generator, but we are actively working on adding more venue type options over time. Please let us know if you have any questions. Thanks.
