How can I access my campaign performance reports?

Transcript

Hi, I’m Jessica, a senior client success manager at AdOmni, and today I just wanted to go over our performance reports and how to find them in your account. Once you have a campaign that has been launched, the live status will appear next to the campaign, and on the right you’ll also see quick stats like impressions, spend, CPM, and pacing. One thing to note is that pacing can fluctuate during the campaign flight—typically we want to see it around 100% or in the high nineties. It’s normal for pacing to ramp up during the first day or two while content is being approved and the campaign is getting going, but if you’re a few days in and pacing still isn’t where you expect (or if it’s a very short flight and it’s not ramping quickly), feel free to reach out to me or the CSM team so we can help.

To view a performance report, select the three dots on the left of the campaign you want to review and choose Performance Report. The report will open for that specific campaign and automatically include all dates for the full campaign flight up to that moment. It will show key metrics like spend, average CPM, impressions, ad plays, and how many screens have delivered so far. You’ll also see a breakout by venue type for screens that have plays, and if you’re running multiple creatives or sizes, it will break out the creative sizes that have run along with their plays and impressions. Scrolling down, you can also view a map of the digital out-of-home screens reached so far.
On the left side of the report, you can filter by a specific date range to view performance for certain days. There are also quick selection options—like “This month”—which makes it easy to view performance over a standard time period. Once you’ve selected a date range, you can download a corresponding CSV report based on that selection. There are several export options, including a daily breakdown, breakdown by device, an hourly breakdown, market breakdowns, or venue type breakdown. For example, if you select Venue Type, the report will download and you can open it as a CSV for a cleaner format if you’re using the numbers elsewhere. Reporting is automated in UTC time since we run campaigns across the world, but if you need to view reporting in your local time zone (like Central or Pacific), you can adjust that on the performance report dashboard.

One important thing to call out: buyer margin is not included in the downloaded CSV breakdowns. You may notice the spend in the CSV is lower than what you see in the in-platform performance metrics, because the platform metrics include buyer margin. So if you’re sharing CSV reports with a client, be sure to calculate and apply the appropriate margin to spend and CPM as needed. That’s it for how to access and view your performance reports. You can use the back arrow to return to your campaign dashboard, or click your logo. And as a reminder, even though you’re running self-service, we keep an eye on all self-service campaigns—so if you have questions, need help reviewing pacing, or want assistance optimizing spend, please reach out and we’ll be happy to help. Thank you so much. Have a great day.
